Thanks for visiting the website. We hope that you will join us in raising awareness and funds for AHCF.
What does the Walk fund? The mission of Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood Foundation (AHCF) is to find the cause(s) of AHC and effective treatments or cures while providing support to the families and children with AHC. It is a nonprofit organization run by parents of children with A.H.C. to help fund research currently underway in the United States. The foundation is a 501 (c)(3) organization. The search for the genetic cause is slow and painstaking, costing millions of dollars annually.
Research continues to progress at Harvard, UCLA, and the University of Utah.
Who will benefit? The funds raised for the AHCF will directly benefit children like Emma, Kiley, Jennie, and Emory who often suffer more than we know. While they are limited in their abilities to tell us about their pain, we certainly can tell you about the joy they bring to our lives every day.
